Description

The SmallRig Advanced Cage Kit “Rhinoceros” for Sony Alpha 7R V / Alpha 7 IV / Alpha 7S III 3710 is designed to reduce arm strain, increase stability, and provide accessory attachment points. The kit includes a cage, a top handle, a side handle, and an HDMI cable clamp. The cage and two handles are portable as they are made of lighter carbon fiber, allowing for longer handheld shooting. For the cage, a locating pin, a 1/4″-20 screw, and an M2.5 screw firmly lock the camera. It features a streamlined design that allows full access to the top buttons. The top handle is comfortable to hold and allows for low-angle shooting; the side handle, made of lightweight carbon fiber and PU leather, provides a nice, firm grip. The HDMI cable clamp, tightened with a flat-head screw, protects the interfaces to ensure stable signal transmission. Additionally, the kit comes with 1/4″-20 threaded holes for the Magic Arm 3873, cold shoe mounts for the microphone, LED video light, and ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes for the Side Handle 2914. A NATO rail and an Arca-Swiss quick release plate add versatility to the cage. In particular, the Arca-Swiss plate allows for quick switching between handheld, tripod, and gimbal (DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro) shooting modes.
