Description

The SmallRig Cage for Sony Alpha 7R V / Alpha 7 IV / Alpha 7S III / Alpha 7R IV / Alpha 1 with VG-C4EM Battery Grip 3594 is designed to protect the camera and provide accessory mounts. It is secured by a 1/4”-20 screw at the bottom and two side adapters via the shoulder strap holes on each side. The cage provides access to buttons, card slots, the battery door, and the vari-angle display. It has 1/4”-20 threaded holes and ARRI 3/8”-16 locating holes for attaching the Top Handle 1638 and 2165 for low-angle shots, the Monitor Mount 2904 and 2903, and the Side Handle 2093. The hot shoe on top allows for attaching microphones or LED lights, and the NATO rail on the left accommodates the NATO Handle 2427 and 3260. Two 1/4”-20 threaded holes at the front bottom allow for attaching the Rod Clamp 1943 for a matte box, follow focus system, lens support, etc. One of the threaded holes on the front has a small locating hole suitable for the 3276 Rod Clamp for follow focus. The Arca quick release plate allows for quick switching between a tripod and handheld shooting; the 1/4”-20 threaded holes on the bottom allow for attaching the DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro quick release plate (upper) with 2 screws for greater stability. The optional Cable Clamp 3000 is available separately for the Sony A7 IV and A7S III to protect the cable ports and prevent signal disconnections. The cage has several rubber pads inside to prevent scratches and comes with a magnetic wrench for easy assembly and disassembly. The pack contains four side locking adapters, the black ones for the Sony A7 IV and A7R and the silver gray ones for the Sony A7S III, A7R IV and A1.
