Smallrig Cage for SONY A5000/A5100 2226

Description

The SmallRig Cage 2226 for SONY A5000/A5100 is a form-fitting cage designed specifically for the SONY A5000 and SONY A5100 camera. The camera can be attached via a 1/4″ threaded hole located under the cage. The cage is anti-twist at the front and is compatible with the Lens Adapter Mount 1787 to protect the lens mount. Rubber pads are placed under the cage to increase friction and prevent any scratches. The design allows full access to the built-in flash and buttons on the top of the camera, and the Top Handle 1984 can be mounted for handheld shooting. In addition, the cage features a hot shoe as well as a few 1/4″ threaded holes for attaching a Hot Shoe Mount 2044 to mount a monitor.

On each side of the cage are 1/4″ and 3/8″ threaded holes, as well as an Arri locating hole, allowing for the attachment of a magic arm and an Arri locating handle. In addition, the HDMI cable can be securely fixed on the left side of the cage with the HDMI Cable Clamp 1693, ensuring stable signal transmission. A handle can be mounted on the right side of the cage to improve shooting comfort. Finally, the cage can be easily mounted on a quick release plate thanks to a couple of 1/4″ threaded holes located on the underside of the cage. Full access to the battery compartment door is retained.
