Description
The SmallRig Cage for Canon EOS R8 4212 is designed to protect the camera and allow for accessory attachment. The camera is locked via a bottom 1/4″-20 screw and two side locking adapters. The cage is equipped with rubber pads that prevent scratches and allow full access to buttons, card slots, the swivel screen, and the battery door.
Accessory mounts include 1/4″-20 threaded holes, 3/8″-16 threaded holes, and ARRI 3/8”-16 locating holes that support the 3765 Top Handle, 2093C Side Handle, 2903B Monitor Mount, and 3875 Magic Arm. The top cold shoe mount allows for the 3468 Microphone and 3286B LED Video Light. The left NATO rail is compatible with the 3260 Pivoting Side Handle and 3813 Mini NATO Handle.
Additionally, the cage is equipped with a QD quick-release shoulder strap mount and an Arca-Swiss quick-release plate at the bottom for an Arca-type tripod or DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro stabilizer to quickly switch between gimbal shooting, handheld shooting, and tripod shooting. A screwdriver is included for easy assembly and disassembly.
